"This villa is toward the east end of Anguilla on the south shore, facing St. Martin--which makes for a great view over the ocean. The villa was clean on arrival and features comfortable beds (one large king in one room, two singles in the other). The kitchen has been recently redone and is bright and airy, part of the big space that includes the living room. There is modern, reasonably quiet AC in both bedrooms and ceiling fans in every room, so it stays reasonably cool. The property is gated, although Anguilla is very safe. The best feature is the deck and pool -- and the great view. The pool is salt water and a uniform depth of about 4 feet (or a little more). It's not technically heated but certainly was a very nice temperature while we were there. There is a washing machine and lots of clothesline space for drying (which is fast in this climate). There's also a BBQ. Plenty of towels, both bath kind and beach kind. And there is a wonderful woman named Joyce who is always available by text and lives about 5 minutes away. The owners are also very responsive and helpful so that communication is always rapid. We would go back in a heartbeat--truly a great place for exploring the island but even great if you just wanted to stay there most of the time. Anguilla is lovely and has the feel of the Caribbean 50 years ago. Staying in the east end is peaceful and quiet but the west end, where the action is, is only a half hour away. A rental car is essential."

"The room was very nice and Shoal Bay is a beautiful beach. It is at the end of the beach on Shoal Bay, so it’s a 12-15 minute walk on the beach down to the main restaurants. I would rent a car to stay here because the cost of 4 taxi rides will cover the cost of your car rental. "

"House was very clean. Host was prompt and excellent at answering any questions we had. House was in close proximity to several grocery stores as well as the most well know beach, Shoal Bay. We rented a car from the manager which worked very well for us. We will probably return the to Anguilla to enjoy the beautiful beaches, the food and the congenial people. "It was a great place with a lot of amenities. Pool was nice and the outdoor furniture was very comfy. One thing was even though we had google maps it was a bit difficult to find - it's a bit out of the way but the island is not that big so didn't take to long to get anywhere . There is no TV. I know that we are on vacation but at night it would be nice to have something. We did go into town and buy some dice so maybe some games there would be helpful. The fans helped in the main room but it does get warm. We did open the doors for a cross breeze and that helped. There are wall air conditioners in each bedroom which helped a lot a night.Just fyi the bath products and towels were so luxurious!! Liked having a washer and dryer. I would definitely stay here again. Also great communication with the owner/ property manager"

"The place was spotless clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed. It's located in a great area, near one of the best beaches on the island, good restaurants, and a decent supermarket. The check-in process was confusing: we didn't get any instructions before arrival and had to message the host on WhatsApp on our way there just to know the address. The TV in the living room was not working, and it was not replaced during our stay, but the host was very responsive every time we had an issue or question. Everything is like it looks in the pictures, except that it's not brand new any more. It's a great value overall considering the prices on the island, and we greatly enjoyed our stay!"
