"The location to the ocean was wonderful. It wasn't an unobstructed view, but you could see the waves as they broke in the distance. The furnishings in the cabin were adequate - nothing special, but they met our needs. The biggest negative was that there was no heat. There was supposed to be heat, but it didn't work. It was pretty cold out, so we had to wear jackets inside to stay warm. There was a wood burning stove had we chosen to light a fire, but we were too tired to go gather wood."

"The house is situated next to ONP. It is an ideal location to access various parts of the park. The house is very clean and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable and the house has been updated nicely. The view from the house is gorgeous, the lot is very private and you can walk to the river. "It felt like there was poor communication. And it seems like its not clear that this is a shared space. Other guests there were also surprised that this is much more like a hostal than a lodge. There is no kitchen and no cell service, and the wifi is so slow its unusable. There is also no tv. They sell firewood onsight but its expensive so get some in forks if you plan on having a fire. "
