"The neighborhood is very rigid after you rent the property. We nearly canceled the stay because of their approach. Thankfully they were less rigid once we arrived. The grounds around the house definitely need some TLC and the cleanliness of the interior was just so so. The drive is a half circle but our AWD cars could not make it up one side do to steepness and it being slick. As such we had to pull in and back out on one side. The property has 10 beds but only says it can sleep 8. I think we were a little early in the season to really get the best of the property. Tried several days to fish but caught nothing. "

"This cabin was well stocked with everything anyone would ever need. Out of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at, this one was the best. It was close to shopping and restaurants. "Cabin is cozy and close to beautiful places. We enjoyed our walk to the waterfall, lake and river. It’s stocked with games! They had towels but I wish I would have brought a couple more. There is a washer and dryer though if needed. Great weekend!"

"The house was in great condition but didn't have many trash bags for use and I tried texting the owners multiple times about the wifi password because we couldn't find it anywhere but I never got any response. But other than communication everything was well "

"The host was absolutely amazing and always got back to me with any questions that I had. The cabin itself was beautiful. The river and the beach with the mountain views were beyond exceptional. The only reason why I did not give five stars is because the beds made the stay very uncomfortable as the mattresses were firm spring mattresses. We all woke up in horrible pain everyday along with tossing and turning throughout the night. The mattresses need to be updated or I definitely suggest putting a 3-in serta topper/ egg crate on top of the mattresses. This would make for a more comfortable stay for many of people. Also wish there was more blankets and not quilts. On nights that it got really chilly, the only thing that kept us warm were the soft plush blankets that they had on the bed that went over the quilts but they are on the thinner side. We tried using the other blankets they did have in the closets but we were still freezing. Other than the mattress and the quilts, everything was beyond perfect. The host responded so fast and so quickly to all of my questions and was on top of everything. The area is beyond exceptional with the views. If you are looking for a cabin in the mountains and a little secluded from the city area, you are definitely looking at the right cabin. The host maintains the cabin beautifully. I would definitely rent again from this host. "

"My family and I loved our stay at Lure Me Inn cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy, and very accommodating! Our hosts truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The extra thought that went into what they provided and how they even decorated for Christmas made it even better! The hosts responded immediately any time we had a question. The cabin is located perfectly to explore the town of Lake Lure and even surrounding towns! My family and I are already planning our next trip back! "
