Best thing about this hotel was that it was quiet despite its central location. The room was small but comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Owner very friendly.
This is a lovely hotel and the location is right in the centre of Cannes. The owner is a gentleman, very helpful and really friendly. He has a lovely dog called Adam. The shower was amazing. I very much enjoyed my stay and I’d highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Thank you.
I liked that the owner presented the room and showed the location of the bathroom, was helpful in orientation around the place and was hospitable.
The room was small, clean. I liked the approach of organizing the space. I didn't like the mattress. When the moon light was directed straight into the eyes I couldn't close the window shutters. I changed for the opposite position and found out that the foam of the mattress was different and uncomfortable.
The space between the toilett and the door is too small. It's a pity that there is no air conditioner. It's not very convenient to plug in the fan.
I stayed one night. The beach is very close. There's a charm in staying in an old part of the town and at the same time in a quite space, green and pleasant, in the center of a vibe city.
Wonderful host and great service. Rooms could have had a full length mirror & perhaps a small chest of drawers but other than that fine. Fantastic location. Owner was lovely! Would recommend :)
Walkable from station and super close to all the sights of Cannes. Simple and basic but all I needed. Bed comfy. Excellent value for money considering location. Had a lovely courtyard though I didn’t get to use it as I was staying just one night. Check-in closes quite early at 8pm so make sure you contact if you’ll be late. Friendly and welcoming. Would certainly stay again if I visit Cannes.

Cannes Charm at Chanteclair
The Chanteclair must be unique. It sort of grows on you. The owner, Pacal, is charming. He makes his "zero star" rating a sales point. So, you have everything you need. It's clean, comfy, homely. Room 14 is quite small however the ensuite WC and shower is modern and more than adequate.Location..location..location: the Chanteclair nails it. The harbour/bus station and heavenly St. Antoine bakery plus the lively Cafe des Halles - very local patronage - are five minutes away on foot, yet the hotel is set in its own courtyard, away from any street noise, not that there's much of that. You meet Adam, Pascal's 3 month old French Bulldog. Even canine skeptics will be charmed by all this. We would stay here again, no sweat. Sadly, system would not let me add photos, including of the little dog, Adam.
Great location but the shared bathroom had mildew on the upper tiles and the rooms were tiny of course with barely any room for clothes. Still it had its charm but really just a place to sleep.
Fantastic hotel. Booked at the last minute and stayed for six days. Quiet and peaceful, super close to tons of shops and restaurants. The courtyard is a lovely place to spend time in. The owner was so nice and very helpful, and his dog adam is just the best. The room was very clean and comfortable. All around an amazing place to stay, I would happily stay here again.

You get what you pay for. Perfect place for a "base", when you want to get around a lot and just need a place to sleep. Very nice people, nice area (you would mix with locals, away from tourists). If your plans are sun busking and lounging, it is probably not for you.
