We stayed at the Paradisus Cancun resort and it was amazing. From the wonderful staff at the pool bar - Mitchel, Carlos, Juan and Isaie - kept our cups filled to the awesome entertainment at night by Giovanni (he is a vibe :), to the relaxing spa treatment with Ruth who was so accommodating and Daniela who gave the best 75minute massage to our concierge Carlos and newbie Jefferson to the front desk staff Janet. It was a perfect vacation for my family. Will definitely go again!

The concierge Omar was excellent. What stood out most about Omar was his personalized approach—they remembered our preferences and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Omar’s knowledge of the resort and surrounding area was impressive, and they offered great suggestions that made our trip even more memorable. Communication was always prompt, whether in person or via phone/message, which made planning incredibly convenient. Overall, the concierge service specially Omar exceeded expectations and played a huge role in making our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. 1. We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 4 (ages 8 and 9 + parents). 2. The zoning was cleverly executed; the areas for families with children and exclusively for adults allowed us to enjoy a relaxing stay. 3. The kids club staff were amazing, and our kids loved the diverse activities - water play, ancient instruments, art craft, dance, and more. I felt very secure to leave my kids, and they wanted to go back again and again. It was the perfect balance for a restful stay for parents. 4. The only downside was mosquitoes. My daughter was bitten 12 times, my son 5 times, and my husband and I were each bitten 4 times, mainly inside the building. And this happened despite my diligent application of insect repellent from the evening onwards, and even though I used a mosquito repellent inside the room. This was partly due to the season, and perhaps also because we stayed in a first-floor room. 5. Overall, my impression is that—with its magnificent scenery, pleasant staff, tastefully renovated building, and dining that offers good value for the price—this is a place I would happily recommend to my friends and their families.

Overall we had a great trip at Paradisus, especially considering the resort had only been reopened for a few days. What we liked: the inside of the resort is beautiful and looks even better at night. The pool is enormous and never felt crowded, even when activities were ongoing. The beach runs the full length of the property, with ample space to enjoy either the sand or sea. The staff were courteous and quick to respond to any requests. Extra credit to the pool bar bartenders who gave equal attention to kids and adults. Our kids loved swimming up and having a frozen drink in their hands in just a few minutes. All of the pool chairs having cushioning was a huge plus, these were some of the most comfortable loungers we’ve experienced anywhere. What we’d change: the pool chair “reservations” of early risers taking chairs with only towels early in the morning meant few, if any chairs were available by 10am. Fortunately I’m an early riser and was able to reserve as well, but wish there was a more equitable system/policy that lets late sleepers or afternoon arrivals a place to settle. The food is only ok, not great. Fresh sliced tacos were very enjoyable, but everything else was only so-so. it seemed like the buffet needed more frequent replenishment; I assume this will get better as staffing levels reach normal operating capacity. We ate at capella, blue agave and zesty - we liked blue agave the most, the others were kind of like the buffet, ok but not great.

The resort had such an amazing view and very attentive staff. I’ve been to various resorts in the Cancun area and this one is the best I’ve been too.

The amazing staff and the beautiful property. The views of the ocean are stunning, and the pools are great, with plenty of options to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I would like to give a special mention to Alica, the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful. I faced a few issues with my room and some situations during our stay, but she handled everything with respect and understanding. The team acknowledged the concerns and genuinely tried their best to resolve them, which I really appreciated. That said, there are a few areas where improvement is needed. Some of the rules regarding the Bali bed were not clearly explained, which led to confusion. The concierge service could also be more proactive and knowledgeable for families to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth. Regarding the catering, I believe there is definitely room for improvement. My expectations for the meals were higher, as the food was generally just average. The temperature of the dishes was not always consistent, and at the omelet station, the same oil seemed to be reused, with omelets sometimes coming out dry. The level of professionalism among some of the kitchen staff could also be improved. Additionally, the spa prices felt unnecessarily high even expensive that Us and did not quite make sense compared to the overall experience other places!!!. This is definitely an area the resort should review and improve to better match guest expectations.
