Where to stay in Camino

Every summer for the past 7 years close to our Anniversary, Lynn and I stay an extended weekend in the Placerville, California area located in the Sierra foothills. This year we stayed in the nearby Apple Hill. Apple Hill is renowned for its orchards, wineries, and farms. Although each farm has something different to offer, we enjoy the apple donuts and pies. Apple wines and beer are also available for tasting. This photo is on the farm we stayed this weekend. The farm grows Christmas Trees and has a wedding venue at this pond.

"Historic hotel with kitchenette...awesome We had to look for alternate location as1st choice could not accomedate disabled family member. Carly & Katie at front were the best ever! Really took care of us. Romero the maintenance man was equally helpful. One of the best experiences ever."
