Fantastic location in the old town, so easy to walk around & felt very safe. Staff welcoming & helpful from the first minute to the last. Beautiful room, very spacious which was wonderful. Kettle, coffee machine, fridge, water etc all supplied along with the usual bathroom products.
Breakfast choices were so fresh & the perfect way to start your day.
Would recommend here.
The hotel is really amazing. It is freshly renovated in the historic center and has an antique aesthetic, where you can partly see the original building. The furniture matches that flair and let me tell you it’s incredibly cool. It is also very clean with a lot of amenities (tooth brushes, shaving set, house slippers,…). The breakfast is also good with the basic stuff you eat everyday and desserts. I think what stands out the most is how friendly and helpful all of the staff members are. They help you with tips around town, with transportation, with your luggage. Also the cleaning personal is really nice and accommodating. The hotel is located literally 1 min away from the Cattedrale di Cagliari and other sights, so everything is really close. We visited with our dog and everybody was very nice to him as well, so he really enjoyed the stay. When we visit Cagliari again, we would choose this hotel! Thanks a lot for having us ☺️.
An outstanding hotel in a lovely quiet part of town but within walking distance of everything you could want. Super friendly, helpful staff.
The room was palatial and the bed very comfortable. Everything was immaculate. The bathroom was very well supplied and the shower just perfect.
The decor all around the hotel is very classy and a credit to the operators.
For Parking the car there are several options. Some free spaces about town delineated by the white lines. Blue lines for paid parking on the street or, as I elected, covered parking on the Viale Regina Elena which cost us €11 for one night. There were plenty of spaces but caution is advised when manoeuvring as the walls are very close as you ascend and descend through the different levels. You can enter the ZTL where the hotel is located between the hours of 0900 and midnight to drop or pick up baggage at the hotel.
We only had one night, sadly. But we know where to head for if and when we return to Cagliari.
Wonderful
We had a three night stay in this beautifully restored hotel. Our room (Roald Amundsen) was huge and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We also had a drink on the rooftop terrace one evening for a stunning sunset. The location was brilliant in the heart of the old town - out of the hustle of the tourist zones but still easily accessible on foot. Breakfast being included was a bonus, though basic and would not have been worth paying extra for if not included.
The room was spacious stunning views staff were absolutely wonderful. We had an amazing time. The location in historical district has a lot to offer. We are rebooking again. I cannot say enough about this place it is simply fantastic relaxing quiet a sense of calm.
Amazing hotel with a great location in the heart of historical cagliari.
Great attention to detail from the furniture to the gym, great breakfast with excellent service.
Stunning room (Roald Amundsen) everything was impeccable

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Beautiful classic decor with Smeg fridge and coffee machine etc but the coffee machine in the room cannot be used as no capsules provided. The tap in the room was noisy and the floor was dirty on the day we arrived. The hotel is along a narrow road and not easy to find parking nearby. Staff are nice bit not always at reception. Buffet breakfast is only continental - eggs are not available.
Stayed in Ambrogio Fogar. Nice room although the dimensions of 35 square metres were not the same as advertised on the website (70) and the bathroom was also not the same one as described. Would have been nicer to have a wardrobe instead of hanging clothes out in the open though. The room is very large but a lot of space is wasted. The breakfast was, quite honestly, a bit of a non-starter. Each table was given 2 croissant and 3 small pieces of bread. A big bread basket at the buffet would have been much nicer. Don't expect anything warm - no boiled eggs for instance. Someone asked if they could have one and were told that the kitchen was closed - a strange thing for a hotel!
The restaurant is great, the staff are, for the most part, friendly. The room was spotless.
Need more info in room, need to update website. Breakfast needs improvement - more choice and less waiting time for coffee and extra bread! Also, the rooftop bar is open to the public and is very small which means that residents have to "fight" for a table which is annoying and uncomfortable as you feel unwelcome.
The hotel is beautiful but needs to be run as a hotel and not just a great restaurant with rooms. Open the kitchen at breakfast and offer more choice to your guests
In short: If you're staying just for a night of so it's a lovely place - very curated with a beautiful ambience. We wouldn't recommend it for longer stays as it really isn't set up for having residents around.
Just like Etruscan Necropolis in Tarquinia, Italy, a uniquely alive and extraordinarily decorated place, A professional and magnificent staff. Filippo was not only helpful but charming and welcoming. Kudos to all!
Very large rooms with a rustic feel and decor . The room was clean , well stocked with bottle of water, soda and coffee with an espresso machine . The downside is the parking and the host did not properly explain how to get to the recommended pay parking as there is an elevator that accesses it . Parking is an issue but the location on the St. Remy Church is unbearable .
