"The accommodation was basic, but sufficient. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. The electric fan was welcome as my stay was during a heatwave. The breakfast was delicious and the service was swift and efficient. Overall, good value."

"Easy parking. Check-in was a breeze. Helpful and friendly staff. Dinner in the restaurant was sublime (and I have a very fussy partner so trust me on this). The room exceeded expectations and thoughtful little niceties like sweets and luxurious ample bathroom additions and slippers/bathrobes. We were a little late down for the 10am finish for the Continental breakfast, but not made to feel rushed at all. In fact the lovely Manager Jacey was warm and chatty. Highly recommend for value, service and comfort in a little known yet stunning Essex coast locale."
