"The property was flooded by the river in December. They are remaking all the gardens. The front desk people are terrible. They dont have information and are the opposite of a client service. The food is wonderful. It is an eco-hotel without running water in the toilets but that is part of the philosophy. Tryed to pay with the credit card online so I did not have to pay a surcharge, but the front desk had not updated the system so it could not be done and had to pay a surcharge."

"The owner was very very generous, friendly and helpful. He treated us as if we were part of his family. You don't get this treatment very often. The location is very close to the entrance El Zaino for the Tayrona Park. The vegetation around the property is fantastic. The only negative side is that the cabins are very close by the road and there is a lot of noise day and night. For the day it might not be a huge problem, but at night if you have poor sleep you might suffer from the noise."

"El lugar cuenta con lo básico sin embargo se fue la luz en la primera noche y fue imposible dormir por el calor. Debería hablar un trapero para limpiar el baño. Sería muy interesada que se complementará la estadía con planes ecológicos como limpiar la playa del frente al alojamiento ya que es demasiado sucia (plástico, vidrio, calzado, etc). "Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights.
