Pictures don’t always tell a hundred stories

Picked the place due to location and the wonderful pictures on VRBO. Pictures and reality in this case are not even close . I missed the nicely decorated rooms that is posted on VRBO! !! The apartment is very conveniently located in central Pest. Unfortunately during my stay it was super hot in Budapest ,93-96 everyday. The apartment has no AC which understandable, usually it isn’t this hot , but I was miserable every night, since it does not cool down much.

Vivi was amazing! Such a wonderful host who left us a welcome basket, explained everything clearly and had provided us with a lovely, clean apartment. The location is also great - within walking distance of the river, the palace, numerous transport stops, great places to eat and drink. The only negative for us was that it was in the heatwave and there was no aircon, but Vivi left us with 2 portable fans and the apartment had a ceiling fan. Thank you so much for everything Vivi!!

Perfection

This is a perfect spot for 2 looking to enjoy all that Budapest has to offer. Steps from subway and other transit and easy walking distance to many sites. Vivi is a terrific host. Highly, highly recommended!

Perfect location, very nice and helpful host

We had a great time staying in this cute apartment. It is perfectly located, you can walk everywhere which makes it easy to explore this beautiful city. Restaurants and bars are close by as well. The communication with Viviana was great, she gave us a lot of information which were very helpful. We highly recommend this place!

Zentral gelegenes originelles Apartment mit Charme

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der perfekt und praktisch eingerichteten Wohnung mit super ausgestatteten Küche. Die Matratzen sind bequem und die Hochebene ist höher als auf den Bildern zu erahnen. Viviane ist gut erreichbar und ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, wodurch Check-in und -out reibungslos verliefen. Wir können diese Unterkunft und ihre Gastgeber sehr empfehlen und kommen selbst sehr gerne bald wieder. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße - auch an die süße "Concièrge"- Katze Theresa, aus der Nachbarwohnung.

My Week in Budapest

This apartment was a perfect place to stay for my daughter and I in Budapest. It is centrally located offering easy access to Vaci Utca, the Grand Market, and a short walk to the Bacillica area. There is a shopping market across the street as well as many restaurants and cafes close by. The apartment itself was very cozy and clean with all the amenities need for our stay. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows and linen. Dealing with Viviana was easy and seamless. She was always available by text and made our checkin and checkout very easy. I will be staying here on my next visit to Budapest.

Tiny studio apartment

This tiny studio/efficiency apartment is in a great location. The host is very nice and provided great directions and recommendations. As soon as we checked in we realized there were not enough towels and she brought some over the next day. However we did not get to use them because we left after the first night even though we had paid for 7 nights. The place was just too uncomfortable. It is NOT a one bedroom apartment. It is a tiny studio with a loft. The stairs for the loft are in the middle of the apt and it is difficult to not bump into them especially if you are sleeping downstairs. The stairs are literally by the foot of the bed. The beds are very uncomfortable. The only separate space with a door is the bathroom so everyone can hear any noise made by the person in the different sleeping area. It just feels cramped. We were two adults sleeping in different areas and we could not think about staying there for a week after getting no sleep the first night. We found a lovely one bedroom apartment very close to this one and only wished we had gone there to begin with.

Great place to stay for Budapest visit!

I stayed here two weeks to visit the city and had a wonderful time. The host was very welcoming, responded quickly to all questions, and kindly left a welcome basket. Self check-in was very fast thanks to clear instructions from Viviana and covered all the apartment amenities and elevator use. Wi-if was very fast. This is a great location right next to the metro with quick transit time to major sights and short walking distance to grocery market/stores along with many other conveniences. The property description accurately describes the apartment and all the amenities. It is a quiet and safe location—very well outfitted for your trip. Highly recommend it to others looking for the best location to stay in Budapest!

Perfect Retreat in the Heart of Budapest

What a terrific find! As a solo traveler I was looking for some quiet time while also having having easy access to all that Budapest has to offer. This place couldn't have been a better fit. The building is gorgeous and because there are residents there it had a terrific vibe to it. The flat itself was so cute with plenty of little spaces to tuck away with a book and a glass of wine while taking in the sounds carried in by a nice cool breeze through the large windows. I spent each night by the window journaling and looking through the days pics. The apartment is exactly as described, don't expect to stand up in the sleeping area which shouldn't be a problem since it's just the bed. There was plenty of lighting throughout, and the multiple fans made it possible to get just the right temp even during a period of volatile weather. It went from quite warm to cold and I had no issues. The place is well stocked and Viviana is an excellent communicator. In addition to the very kind welcome gift, she is diligent about her responses and clearly cares about you having a great experience. I found so much to do within walking distance, public transit was easy to catch from here, and getting to and from the airport was a cinch. I loved the old elevator that works far better than the modern one in my office building in the States! If you are looking for a more authentic experience in a phenomenal location, this is it!

Great stay in Budapest

Wonderful place to stay. We were in Budapest for 8 days and the condo was close to everything we wanted to do and see. Great restaurants close by and an Aldi supermarket 3 mins away. Had a great time.

Ubicación excepcional y la mejor anfitriona que he tenido

La ubicación del piso es fantástica, para tres personas perfecto. Viviana es la mejor anfitriona que he tenido, nos ha ayudado en todo y nos ha recomendado sitios a los que ir que eran menos turísticos y por lo tanto más tranquilos. Apartamento muy bien comunicado. Por poner un pero, ha habido unas temperaturas muy altas y en el piso hacia bastante calor, aunque entiendo que no es lo normal allí y con los ventiladores que tiene el piso se debería estar bien, pero hubiera sido perfecto un aire acondicionado, aunque alli se ven pocos.

Nice flat in central budapest

Had a good stay here. Got in easily, good price, as described. Could have been cleaner and had to buy toilet roll as there wasn’t any in the flat. Over all though it really didn’t detract and had a great time. Would stay again.

Nice location

Check in was easy, nice little apartment but hot for sleeping as the bed is in a upper loft. Owners were very helpful and an Amazing location! Would recommend!

Excellent Location and Cozy

It is a perfect central location for Budapest. Viviana was great in helping me get comfortable so I could get off the road and out of hostels. The apartment was very clean and plenty of space to sit down and eat or do some work. Very close in proximity to Madal Cafe for a nice coffee and snack, and plenty of nice restaurants or street food. An ideal place to stay when it is cooler out, but can be a bit warm in the evening without A/C after it’s been hot all day. Easy fix is to just stay out and see the city and enjoy sleeping in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Budapest.

La casa sul ballatoio

La signora è stata gentilissima, siamo nel cuore di Budapest, in un palazzo storico. L' ascensore è un'opera d'arte, in casa c'è sempre caldo e se non vuoi il caldo basta tenere la stufa a tre. Noi eravamo a Budapest per i bagni termali e la sera gli asciugamani erano da strizzare, fradici, ma nel giro di tre ore tutto era asciutto. I giorni sono volati, peccato...

Propriétaire Viviana adorable et très disponible

Nous sommes venus 3 jours pour assister à un match de l’Euro 2020 (Hongrie - Portugal le 15/06/21). Viviana la propriétaire est extrêmement gentille, donne des conseils sur la ville, les lieux à visiter et les bons restaurants… cela nous a bien aidé. L’appartement correspond à notre attente et est très bien situé. À notre arrivée une bouteille de vin, des bières, de l’eau chips et friandises nous attendaient. Une très délicate attention. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour. Un grand merci à Viviana de nous 4! Tout était parfait Philippe

Joli apartement tranquil en plein coeur du centre ville

L'emplacement est tout simplement incroyable. On ne pouvait demander mieux. En plein coeur du cartier V, il y a tout plein de restos et petits magasins dans les environs. Pour trouver de quoi manger, il y a boulangeries et marché à quelques pas. L'apartement est dans un vieil immeuble qui nous a paru sécuritaire. On doit utiliser un de ces vieil ascenseur aux grilles de fer forgé pour grimper au 3e, où se trouve l'apartement. L'intérieur peint de couleurs vives est très accueuillant et a fait le bonheur de notre grande fille de 6 ans. A la mezanine, on trouve 1 lit double et un sofa lit, bien confortable pour 1 adulte ou 2 enfants . Il faut savoir toutefois que la mezanine n'est protégée que par une clôture de bois, qui pourrait laisser passer les plus petits... s'ensuiverait d'une chute fracassante. Donc pas pour les bambins qui commencent à marcher ou qui sont trop tourbillons! Il y a aussi un autre sofa-lit au salon, au rez-de-chaussé devant la télé pour y accueuillir une ou 2 autres personnes en cas de nécessité. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine pour se préparer des petits plats... l'hôtesse nous a même laisser une bouteille de vin et quelques grignottines! Elle est d'ailleurs super sympa et très réactive. On s'est sentis comme chez nous.
