"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on....

"The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!"

"A beautiful hotel in an incredible location, with lovely spa facilities that are worth a visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, for a hotel of this calibre, we did notice a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. Small touches — like having the tea tray refreshed without needing to ask — are the kind of details that elevate a stay, and we found ourselves having to prompt for these. "When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "

"We were given a different room to the one we booked. The room was smelling strongly of air freshener to cover the smell from the drains. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The evening meal was awful and took over 2hrs for 2 courses, the waitress ended up in tears after all the complaints. The receptionist tried her best to sort things out but was fighting a loosing battle. All in all not a good stay, luckily we only stayed one night - never again!!!"

"This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended."
