"For a very old hotel, it was wonderful! The staff was fantastic and took care of things better than we would have expected. They were all very friendly. Our waitress Maggie, took good care of us and the manager Michael got us a drink even though the bar was about to close for the night. We would definitely stay at the Terrace Inn again."

"We found the Hotel Earl of Charlevoix to be a gem! Our room was clean and cozy, and the staff was super helpful and quick to answer any questions. The breakfast of hot waffles was tasty, but what really made our stay special was the electric vehicle (EV) charging stations right there. They made our first trip from Central Virginia to Northern Michigan in our EV so much easier and less stressful. Plus, the hotel’s great spot near downtown Charlevoix was a big plus. We could just walk around Charlevoix, and the on-site EV charger was a huge convenience, since we also had to commute a few times to Petoskey for our daughter. We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Earl of Charlevoix and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a luxurious hotel experience in the Petoskey and Charlevoix area."

"Cute little cabin great for 6 people stay. Well stocked kitchen and very clean space. There are quiet hours starting at 10 if you are looking for a relaxing stay. Hot tub was wonderful and the view was beautiful. Close to Walloon lake, Petoskey and Boyne City. Anything we could need was provided and check out was a breeze."

"Pros: staff were very friendly, they had extra “rollaway” beds (which are harder to find these days), they allow 24 hr access to pool & gym if you’re not being a disturbance, and the lobby is cute and cozy, with games and books available. Cons: mold in two corners of our bathroom, ants attacked our pizza we had on a table in our room, wifi kept cutting in and out the entire weekend, parking lot is partially flooded, hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, and breakfast was not what I expected - bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, and that’s it (there was a pancake machine but it wasn’t working). With the smallest coffee cups I’ve literally ever seen lol. It was fine, but both days we had to go find breakfast that wasn’t just carbs and sugar and felt more substantial. It’s a hotel. The price was right for us, so we can’t complain too much. We felt safe and could get sleep here, and that works for us."
