"The room was clean the morning I checked in. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The property was quiet, in walking distance of cool little pubs and just an overall great experience."

"Pros: Check-in was a breeze. They provided a Handicap accessible room upon request. Grounds were clean and the staff was excellent. Asked for extra towels and pillows and they were quickly provided. Very Polite. If your looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep this will serve you well. Cons: Amenities - the only chair in the room was a desk chair. Presented with a lounge type chair to allow to sit comfortably and read or change your socks... wasn't there. There was no microwave unless you count the one in the lobby. They sell mac n cheese and ramen noodles cups so if you don't plan on eating out everyday or having food delivered this may be a problem. A few kerig coffee pods with the maker were in the room when we arrived. They were not replaced. The coffee at the lobby was there the first day, absent the second, cold the third. As I travel with instant coffee this wouldn't have been a problem if there was a microwave. I like a cup of coffee as I put on my socks in the chair that wasn't there. I'll probably go back and remove another star just thinking about it. The pool was closed, evidently for a while by previous reviews. Did not look for it or change my review. Also it has a limited workout room I didn't use, there were those that did. Summary: I expected better. We stayed for 3 nights, we had planned on four. Bad weather, the missing micro and chair, and completed business, we chose to leave early instead of play the tourist for a day."

"We had an overall good experience. The staff was friendly. The rooms have exterior entrances surrounding a parking lot, like a motel. Breakfast was good- no made to order items but did have waffles, hard-boiled eggs, pre-made egg & sausage biscuits, fruit, etc. At night we could hear the footsteps of people walking around upstairs, but not too bad. The hotel was also conveniently located within walking distance of the green line B metro. "

"This is a great place to stay when in boston. Quite a bit cheaper than staying closer to downtown and alot nicer than staying in a hotel for 2x the price. Uber rides to downtown, Fenway and TD Gardens were about $30 and took about 20 min to get there. We were in room 6 and it was really big. Queen size bed but also room to walk around and lay out our stuff for the week. There is a shared bathroom but no problems there. They even provided slippers for the shower. Bathroom was right next to our room so made it super easy. The living room has couches and a tv and kitchen has everything you need. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a 3 level building so a total of 40 steps from the main street up to the top level. If you have mobility issues or are travelling with older adults with hip or knee issues it would be difficult. Owner was super easy to work with. We had a question when we arrived and he answered almost immediately. If we return to Boston as planned next year we would definitely stay here again."
