Make a day trip on the Golden Circle and see the exploding Geysir with all its natural power, and drop by the historic Thingvellir National Park, and view close up the beautiful Gullfoss waterfall. In the evenings you will always come back home to this cozy cottage in Helluskógur and the first thing you might do is, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the views or the Northern Lights in the peace and quietness after a memorable day.
The lodge was built in a traditional, Icelandic summerhouse way. It is well constructed and insulated. It is warm and cozy all year round with all necessities and comfort. The house has an open kitchen-living room area. In the kitchen there is all the tableware and equipment you need for cooking, baking, and serving a lovely meal. The living room has a great corner sofa and a large flat screen TV . The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with great quality beds. Free WIFI.
On the large terrace is a nice hot tub that fits up to 6 people, barbecue grill and comfortable outdoor seating. The terrace is perfect for serving a good meal and relax in the peaceful environment. Beside the house is a grass lawn which is surrounded by a birch forest, ideal for kids to play.
