​3/5 Stars – Great staff and clean hotel, but poor room electronics and sleep environment ​Overall, the hotel itself is in great condition, very clean, and the staff was genuinely fantastic. However, my specific room had several frustrating issues that made the stay underwhelming. ​The bed was fairly average/mid-tier in terms of comfort, but the biggest issue was the room electronics. The TV's internet connection didn’t work, so I couldn't stream what I wanted. The TV also runs proprietary software that locks you out of the settings, meaning I couldn't adjust the picture brightness—making the show I tried to watch way too dark to see properly. On top of that, the room had way too many bright ambient lights at night. Between the blinking router lights, a harsh digital alarm clock display, and standby LEDs on the TV, it was difficult to get the room dark enough to sleep well. ​Given how nice the staff was and how well-kept the property is, it might just have been a bad room, but the tech and sleep setup definitely need improvement.

This is the perfect hotel if you are traveling and need a place to rest and recover. Good place to eat (was open on Thanksgiving), had laundry facilities and a decent gym. Room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having the couch and a refrigerator to help us chill out.

Great Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. My husband and I spent the weekend in Boone so we could go snowboarding. This hotel was in a great location with easy access to food and the resorts were only 30 minutes away. Check in was easy, the room was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back and staying here for our next snowboarding trip.
