"Great place. A few minutes walk from the main lodge where you leave your car. There is a parking bay to unload your gear if required. Note there is no lift so not suitable if you have walking difficulties. Nice modern room with big bathroom. Tv is tiny"

"We made a last minute booking and the hotel was able to have our room ready in just a couple of hours. For the price we paid the hotel room was very good, clean but slightly dated fittings in the bathroom. The welcome was great."

"A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was perfect for our stay - just wish we had longer to appreciate the hotel as we literally just slept there! The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was really good. If we ever head back up north we would definitely go back."

"Old coaching in so plenty of character. Unfortunately this also meant no lift so a bit of a struggle to upstairs rooms with a heavy suitcase. Staff were all friendly and efficient and the included breakfast offered plenty of variety. I ate dinner in the bar lady night and the lamb was really excellent. There is parking but I’m not sure if there is space if every room is filled. There’s also a spa on site but I didn’t have time to try it."
