"Amazing hotel! Enormous room!! Best hotel Iāve ever stayed! Great price for what it is!!! We could enjoy the swimming pool just after our arrival, so it was a bonus after a long drive in a hot day!"

"Great hotel, with great location by the river and great 3rd party underground parking right opposite. Only issues were Breakfast, Sunday morning was Chaos, the 1 member of staff did their best, but everything was lacking, like tables not cleaned, and at any one time when you went to the buffet there was always a few things that had run out, from clean plates, glasses, Cups, ran out of Waffle batter, no tomatoes, no fresh juice, no pastries.. they would re plenish one thing only for 2 others to run out, felt sorry for them, as should have been staffed better. Aircon was weak, fair enough the weather was very hot, but the room was at best a little cooler than outside, not cold, as you could expect from a new building ran by a premium chain. Having said all this it is the 3rd time I've stayed here and would definitely stay again or at its sister hotel across the road when next passing Tours way."

"Die Zimmer waren groĆ. Roomservice hatten wir nicht - den mĆ¼sste man extra bestellen - war aber OK. Leider keine Klima-Anlage, aber wir wollten es ja mittelalterlich. Sehr hundefreundlich. Insgesamt ein schƶner Aufenthalt"

"La Maison Rabelais is in the heart of Amboise ā well-located and nearly everything is an easy 5-10 minute walk, though the train station is on the other side of the river by 1.5 mi, necessitating a ride. Very nice breakfast ā hearty and copious. While the property does NOT have A/C, the room (big and spacious) stayed cool however the ventilation system was configured. It was a little warm at night but not uncomfortable, especially considering afternoons were near 100 F/38 C. Definitely a nice property."
