The hotel is great. Nice clean room with fully equipped kitchen. The pool was very nice. There are no places for shopping and just a few restaurants, ordering food deliveries was not possible.
Very well equipped apartment in one of the most massive buildings ever! Great kitchen, very nice balcony overlooking the ocean, and a very comfortable bed. Parking in a parking structure across the road was quite expensive, but the room was relatively cheap, so that was okay. Oh, and free drinks in the fridge!
This was a lot better than I had expected. Great location, great beach, very good breakfast and good if not great restaurants close by. If you are staying for a longer stint there are many stores close by so you can cook for your self. Overall this experience was a lot better than I had expected.
Despite the fact that all restaurants and bars close as early as 9:30 p.m. on a Friday during the autumn holidays – and that many roads and walking tracks in the area seem unnecessarily blocked with barriers and fences – the place still exudes a magnificent sense of history.
The apartment is large and beautiful, with a nice balcony, a TV with more than 30 channels, and well-functioning Wi-Fi. However, the level of service is limited – for example, there was only one drinking glass provided. On the other hand, there were plenty of towels, soap, and similar amenities.
A really good base for exploring Rügen, enjoying the lovely beach, and of course experiencing the impressive and historic architectural complex that Prora is. Breakfast can be highly recommended at Café Break in No. 201 or bakery nearby.
Ferienwohnung with view to the ocean. Modern and clean.
It was unusual to have the reception not covered all day, but somehow okay. I personally would prefer to have staff on site 24/7.
Not many options for restaurants bur supermarket is close to shop and cook your own meals.
Fantastic flats in the old Prora houses!
To reach hotel by car you need to pass a paypoint for parking - there you should press "helpbutton" and explain you are a hotelguest or press for a ticket and ignore the warnings of 50€ penalty - everything will be sorted when checking in at hotel - this could be explained at homepage or by mail and save many problems!
The reception opening hours was 13:00 - 23:00 but it was closed when we came at 15. Because of just one person working, a qeue of irritaded guests formed. It was strange with closed reception when checking out...
But the flat was really fantastic! Clean, modern, spatious and close to the wonderful beach!
Breakfast was ok but lots of things ran out long before closing time.
Located in the gigantic holiday resort built during Hitler days. This part (and most parts) of the building is now nicely restored. The room is big and so is the bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen. There was even salt and pepper (but no coffee). It didn´t have aircondition, which I think would have been good, even with the moderate temperatures at my visit. Breakfast is at extra cost, expensive but high quality. Many choices, including hot courses.
Originally built during WWII, the complex is well renovated and offer large spaces and big rooms which are in fact some apartments. Large living room, nice kitchen.
The decoration is sober but quite modern.
The parking lot is just accross the street but do first your check-in to get your parking place allocation.
The breakfast is just normal, nothing spécial.
The hotel is not "on the beach" but very close to it.
You can as well find a swimming pool and a gym but be aware that the access is normally with some extra cost.
Room wasn’t ready until well after 6pm. If you allow late checkout on a Sunday then resource the cleaning schedule properly to allow the next guests to get in on time, OR DON’T OFFER A LATE CHECKOUT ON A SUNDAY - it’s really that simple! “Room not ready yet, come back at 4”, “room not ready yet, come back at 5 ‘if you’re lucky” WT actual ***k!? Then the cleaner took our dog bowl - why would you do that!? Messaged them twice to see if we could pick it up on the way back from our onward journey but they didn’t even have the decency to reply. Really good facility, but unfortunately it would appear that the management couldn’t run a bath, never mind a hotel. A real shame!
Wonderful the hotel apartment had a sea view excellent service beautiful area the time went so fast! Pool and fitness center spotless Huge pool very clean and not crowed we had it to ourselves most of the time. Sauna and steam area were really nice as well
The apartment itself and the surrounding area were truly fantastic – a unique and exciting place to stay.
Unfortunately, the check-in experience left a lot to be desired. We were charged several unexpected fees upon arrival, and when we asked for clarification, we received no proper explanation. Additionally, we were told that our access to hotel facilities was limited because we had booked through Hotels.com, which felt both unfair and unwelcoming.
Overall, we didn’t feel welcome, and that was largely due to the receptionist and the way things were handled at check-in. It’s a shame, because the property itself has a lot of potential.
