"This property is nothing short of magical. We brought three generations, seven people ranging from age 10 to 79, and every single one of us fell in love with this place from the moment we arrived. The house itself is beautiful, thoughtfully crafted with handmade cedar features, and comfortable enough to feel at home right away. The massive picture windows are like staring out at a living painting that only gets more beautiful from dawn and dusk. The real star is the 40 acres of ancient forest and being 50 feet from the Little White Salmon River. We explored the lava rock pool, tried our hand at fishing, walked the long forested driveway every morning, and spent evenings eating meals together at the spacious table, wondering how we go so lucky to find this place. Brent was a a great host. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing his special place. His love for this property shows in every detail. If you are looking for a place that will reconnect your family with nature, slow everything down, and create memories that last a lifetime, this is it. We can't wait to come back. Five stars doesn't feel like enough."

"We have stayed at this property for years, no more free breakfast..no waters offered on checkin..bar and lounge very sterile, staff don't seem to care. So we will look for a new place to stay in Hood River. Sad as things have changed seems like it is about corporate not customer."
