"The location, grounds, and resort itself are gorgeous. Clean and well-maintained. The private beach is beautiful. The room was very clean. The restaurant was good. We were disappointed that upon check-in at 3pm, we had to wait 2 hours for our room. A lot of other guests were waiting too. Then, when we got to our room, our bags weren’t there like we were told they’d be. We also had to wait for beach towels while they were being cleaned. Overall we had a really nice experience. The resort itself is very nice. There were just a few little things that made the stay difficult and frustrating. For that reason, I don’t know that I’d want to come back. "

"A beautiful, historic boutique hotel with a charming local feel. Huckleberry restaurant is one of the very best in Bermuda. Staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Our so-called “cozy” room was spacious and very comfortable. You feel like you’re truly experiencing Bermuda compared to the corporate feeling Princess Hotel across the street."

"If you’re looking for an elegant, pristine hotel set beside a stunning azure‑coloured ocean, this is the place. From the balconies, you can sometimes spot whales passing by. The property itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with three different pools and easy access to other parts of the island. During our stay, the room alarm went off a few times over several days. I never complained, and when staff came to check, I simply mentioned what had been happening. The next day, I returned to my room to find a beautiful bottle of rum with a handwritten apology, thanking me for my understanding and for being a valued guest. I couldn’t bring it home, but the gesture meant a lot and spoke volumes about their hospitality. One thing to note is the relaxed, laid‑back culture, which is part of the charm. You really do need to slow down and lean into it. There is a beach on one side of the hotel, accessible by walking over rocks when the tide is low, a lovely walk, by the way. When the tide is high, access requires taking the road, which isn’t very walkable, so a rental car or bus is recommended. The location is excellent and close to some of the most beautiful parts of the island, including Horseshoe Bay and several small, picturesque coves. If you visit in the off‑season, it truly feels like you have these beautiful beaches to yourself. "

"Austin was a fantastic host! So friendly, helpful and generous. The home was perfect for my needs as a visitor to Bermuda. I specifically wanted to be in Devonshire, so the location was perfect for my son and I. We wanted easy access to both ends of the island, so a central location, allowed for that. We did not spend much time at the home other, other than to sleep. We could easily walk to the bus and used this as our primarily means of transportation. The walk is a bit hilly but was not an issue for us. The unit is located down a flight of stairs. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked. And the bed and pull out sofa were very comfortable. I would stay at this location again! Thanks Austin! "
