"Enjoyed staying here for our first time visiting Salzburg. Located close to the river and 15-20 minutes walking distance from most tourist sites, but hotel first card allowed for free local bus/trolley transport. Modern style room decor, newer fluffy towels, high quality hair dryer, good sink and shower drainage, working fridge. Unfortunately, killed one cockroach, and on the last night what sounded like an alarm kept going off with longer gaps between alarm sounds from 9pm until the morning...

"Very close to train station and main bus stop and places to eat.
However in spite of one member of family not able to travel to Salzburg, the city tax was taken for the missing person, which didn’t happen in Innsbruck or Munich.
Fridge inside the room didn’t work and they didn’t replace it. All food was rotten because of a non-functioning fridge."

"The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was the nicest we experienced in all of our travels in Europe. There is no AC in the room though so if it is hot outside be prepared for a warm night’s sleep. There is no elevator. A nice man carried our luggage upstairs for us and the room key was one of those cute old fashioned Ben Franklin Keys. Very charming."
