"The view, facility and staff are wonderful. The shuttle bus makes the 20 minute trip down the hill to Sorrento a breeze! Can’t wait to return."

Hotel shuttle every hour was convenient. CONS: AC has to be requested, which isn’t the worst, but very inconvenient when you get back to your room after walking A LOT. Rooms did not come with an iron, which was VERY inconvenient every single day having to go downstairs to iron before getting dressed in...

"We zijn 10 jaar geleden voor het eerst hier geweest en waren vooral enthousiast over de fijne sfeer en het personeel, ook al was het hotel vrij gehorig. Inmiddels is het hotel van eigenaar gewisseld en heeft het een extra ster en een lift gekregen. Het heeft nog steeds dezelfde charme, een leuk zwembad en mooie tuin met bar en leuk nieuw personeel. De kamers zijn goed, de bedden ook en er is een zeer uitgebreid en goed ontbijt, maar onze kamer had ook wat gebreken, het restaurant is inmiddels...

"This hotel was awesome. The location is great. It close to everything without being right in the middle of the chaos. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was fun too! The hotel had a nice patio area to sit out on and have a drink. The pool area and lounge chairs were fantastic as you got to look over the city to the sea. The breakfast was as expected. I would definitely stay here again."

"This was a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated having a small fridge in the room. The fresh baked goods served at breakfast were delicious. We enjoyed our breakfast in the beautiful courtyard with all of the flowers. The staff were all amazing and looked for ways to make your stay wonderful. Elisa called our shared shuttle company and arranged to have them pick us uo by the hotel. "The hotel was perfectly placed just a short stroll from the main pedestrian area, lovely pool on the roof and large, well maintained room with a balcony overlooking the lemon grove. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in a few places but, hands down, the customer service by the concierge and reception staff was the best ever received - friendly, polite, attentive, chatty and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome and informed. A credit to the hotel, thanks for having us."

"We loved our stay at Hotel Astoria Sorrento! Amazing location if you want to stay in the heart of things and don't want to pay the seaside prices. Room was super clean and the saff was very kind and attentive. The complementary breakfast was useful for early morning tours. Only downsides were noisy hallways (door had lots of gaps) and the room was smaller than we expected from the photos and description. Overall, we would stay again and maybe upgrade to a larger suite!"

"Nice smaller hotel in the heart of the town just off the lively main square (Tasso) with amenities including air conditioning, lounge area and a beautiful rooftop pool and terrace. Great place to relax. We could walk easily to numerous restaurants and cafes. Due to our schedule, we ended up staying in several different rooms and all were agreeable with French doors to enjoy the sounds of the nightlife. Breakfast was included and more than enough variety."
