"We stayed for over one month at this location. The unit is well equipped, the view on Oponuhu bay is indeed breathtaking. Location is quiet and out of the way but convenient 2 mins from Tàhiamanu beach and 10mins from Tiahura Beach area and 12 mins from the grocery store. A car is necessary, a car with higher ground clearance is recommended, the hill climbing to this great view is not easy. Communications with the owner and staff were friendly, easy and efficient. They made sure we had everything we needed. This unit is great for a rustic retreat in northern Moorea. Thanks again to Veira and Selma."

"One of my favorite things about Manava was the authentic Polynesian vibe. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. The beautiful infinity pool was amazing. We just had a wonderful stay and would love to return again!"

"This is for sure a five star island and location. Forget about staying at one of those bungalows. Here, you have friendly dogs, a private beach, access to private snorkeling, a good size kitchen, a grill, a hammock, a private concierge (Alix), and if you want: a boat and car. We highly recommend getting a boat and car. The water here is spectacular and it was cool to boat to the place where snorkeling trips go to see the sharks and rays. The road noise is certainly a thing…but it’s the trade you get when you live amongst the locals and not in a large resort. The outdoor shower (and indoor) were lovely, our weather was perfect, and the furniture for relaxing was amazing. In some ways this place was a bit more rustic than I was used expecting….but it made it feel like a much more authentic and wonderful experience. What a gorgeous country!"
