Seriously one of the best staff I’ve seen in the hotel business. They have a car service that you can use for free that takes you near by. That was really handy.

They put me in the wrong room at first, and It was a hassle getting the wifi code to work
The hotel is pretty, modern, and extremely clean. The breakfast they serve is yummy and plentiful. The staff (specifically Christine, Khaled, Rita, Paul, Marc, and Nathalie) are amazing and go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable stay in Beirut. I highly recommend staying here when coming to Beirut!
Overall this was a great stay. Exactly what you need in a hotel. Clean. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Accomodating staff. Free shuttle drop-offs within the city.
We stayed at The Key for 5 nights on our first visit to Beirut, and enjoyed every second. We had a deluxe one-bedroom apartment with balcony that was in excellent condition. The hotel's housekeeping standards are very high; our room was spotless, as were the lobby, bar, and all other public areas.
The hotel is a short taxi ride from downtown Beirut and the airport. The hotel provides a free car shuttle service on a first come, first served basis and the drivers, Paul & Mark, are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, as were all the staff I met at the hotel. We took advantage of the shuttle service each day to start us off on our exploration of this amazing city. Taxis in Beirut (identified by red number plates) are plentiful and affordable. Uber also operates in the city, so it's easy to get around.
The hotel also has a small grocery store, which came in very handy to stock up on basic supplies. The bottled water and local beer were very reasonably priced.
One of the hotel's big pluses is that it is 100% smoke free, one of the reasons we chose to book. We enjoyed our stay so much that the Key will be our first choice when visiting the Lebanon in the future, which we hope to do very soon.
The food was exceptional, the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful esp Christane, Sam and Nathalie, Hassan in housekeeping and Crystal in the spa.
It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely, well- trained staff team. My room was gorgeous. It’s just a little bit out of the way with no amenities within walking distance, which is a real shame. However the food in the hotel was very good (a bit pricey) and the breakfast was excellent.
I stayed here two years ago, and it was the first time I gave a hotel 10/10.
I came back this year very aware that Lebanese hotels tend to get worse by time. But here it wasn’t. The hotel is very unique comparing to ALL Lebanese hotels I stayed at. The level of professionalism is unparalleled in Lebanon. Staff are great and well trained, you don’t see ‘I hate my job’ faces, wether at restaurants, reception or the shuttle drivers.
Speaking about the shuttle services they have, I didn’t use it first time, but now I did, the drivers are great and drive way more professional than regular taxi drivers and drivers in Lebanon in general.
I highly recommend this hotel, sometimes their prices can be a touch high, however I think they deserve a higher premium than many of their competitors.
Little far(not walking distance) from the downtown area but they have free shuttle service to downtown area. The roomis very clean and have small mart open 24hr which was very convenient to buy breakfas snuck or local wine.
Initially we had a problem with our room, when management became aware of our issue they addressed it with prfessionalism and went overboard to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
They really do care about their customers.
Great Place. Highly recommended.
We stayed longer because we loved it. Booked a room with terrace.
The stuff is super friendly , they helped to organise private transport to Baalbek and Byblos.
The buffet breakfast is extraordinary. So is lunch and dinner.
The beds are extremely comfortable , the place very clean and everyone greets you with a smile. The complimentary car for trips within Beirut is also a bonus. Not always available but if not an uber driver is never too far.
Conveniently located for the National Museum and MIM.
