"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. "Excellent location with free parking right in the centre of Angers. Very nice buffer breakfast with lots of choice. Staff very helpful and friendly. No air com, fan wasnt very powerful but managed to sleep ok. Very good value for the price"

"Nice large farmhouse surrounded by fields. Comfortable beds, great showers (2) and lots of hot water despite there being 11 of us. Plenty of room for family dining inside and out. However, it could have been in better condition on arrival . There were broken roof tiles and lots of weeds growing around the poolside, the bedding and towels were clean but the property was generally tired and not particularly clean. The fridge did not work properly which was an issue as we stayed during hottest week of summer so far. Alix visited to check on us, but was unable to rectify the fridge and offered another, but that didn't work either! Plentiful supplies of cutlery, crockery and serving plates but short on racks for the oven and pots and pans. It was great to have our own pool, but needs to be kept clean by use of robot and topped up with water by guests. Large parties need more sunbeds and guests should be aware there is no WiFi."

"Fantastic guest experience from arrival to departure. Location close to the autoroute. Plenty of free onsite parking. A very warm welcome from Margaret who was so helpful and kind throughout our stay. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Very clean and comfortable bedroom with good amenities. We used the pool. Could t rate the place and the team any higher. Thank you."

"We neglected to get parking instructions, so we parked on the street and had to drag our luggage a couple of blocks. Ask for the name of the underground parking almost right at their door. I can't recall the name of the front desk guy, but he was the most delightful Indian young man. He saw us coming across the square, with me pushing a walker, so he ran down the stairs and carried our luggage up the stairs while my husband helped me up. He was the most caring, outgoing front desk person I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He spoke English with his lovely accent, apologizing for how rusty his English was. We were given two complimentary mocktails in the lovely bar they have, and met a bartender as charming at the front desk guy. Again, forgot his name, but he was Argentinian and spoke good English as wel. I loved the dark paint and wallpaper - very calming. In spite of being right in the middle of the action, our room was blessed silent. The tram station is right out front so you can just park your car and forget about it. We ate at the Brasserie du Ralliement occupying a grand old theatre just a few steps down from the hotel."

"I was attending an event at the IceParc so the location is great. The room is small but adequate and comfortable, and the kitchenette is very nice. The supermarket next day is convenient. I rated cleanliness lower because some kitchen utensils were not clean; I had to wash cutlery before using."
