"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "The hotel overall was very good, and the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was also excellent with a good variety of options. However, the carpet in the room had a very strong smell of dampness and mould, and it felt quite dirty because of the humidity. This was the only negative point during our stay. Apart from that, everything else was very good."
