Super Friendly staff, spa was amazing and the room was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, breakfast was also really good! Would recommended to anyone looking for a luxury break.
We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.
Loved it here! We stayed for 2 nights and are already planning our next visit.
The food was exceptional: afternoon tea was one of the best I have ever had, and the Mediterranean breakfast was delicious.
Spa facilities are lovely, as are the staff in the spa and the treatments they provide. We loved the heated outdoor pool, and spent plenty of time in it even though the weather was a bit dull and rainy. Didn't matter!
The room we were in was spacious, clean, and modern. The hotel interior and lounge areas are cosy and well designed. Really feels like a relaxing, comfortable place to be.
My husband's favourite part about Homewood: the pick'n'mix station at reception! A great touch, and we still talk about it.
Can't wait to return!
Amazing experience , loved every second. The place is fantastic, the spa is perfect, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was great and the beer was cold. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Only thing I would add to the spa is an ice bath.
Great room with best appliances and very clean. Staff are extremely helpful and the WhatsApp messaging works really well and avoids having to go to reception with every query. The rooms could benefit from built in air conditioning, however we were provided with a portable one immediately on request. The restaurant offers good food but not a huge selection and the service is very slow for both dinner and breakfast. The spa area is great with both an outdoor regular pool plus a heated pool with jacuzzi jets. Although the hotel is open to families the hotel is very much geared to adults and pets are welcome. A very good hotel with lots going for it would definitely recommend for a short relaxing break
Great small Manor House hotel and spa. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. We would stay again.
Everything about this place is perfect! The reception to the spa everything is so open and welcoming. The staff are super friendly and treat you more than just a guest at a hotel. The spa is incredible and the grounds are beautiful also.
This might be one of my best stays yet. The location was stunning, the decor was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and attentive, and there was so much to do. The staff even brought a surprise birthday treat to our room. Our stay really felt like luxury. We can't wait to come back.
Really enjoyed our stay here after Glastonbury! Staff were wonderful and were able to accommodate our late check-in, had a lovely breakfast the next morning and spent the day in the spa. It was the first day the new spa pool was open and we got to enjoy it briefly before it was closed - highly recommend the massages. Would love to come back and spend more time here next time!
Really beautiful grounds surrounding the hotel, with lots of quirky features. It’s really convenient to get to from Bath city centre and a stunning escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Some of the room facilities do need updating though, basic things like the wardrobes have so many layers of paint on them that they do not close, one window wouldn’t open, the controls for the shower have been installed incorrectly (the hot/cold knob was actually the on/off switch and vice versa) and there were lots of marks and dings on the walls- the back of the bedroom door had a hole in that needed to be filled/painted for example. The sofa in the room also desperately needs a clean. The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff are lovely but it lacks finesse to make it a true 4 star hotel at the moment.
On first arriving to this hotel all seemed well, staff member was polite, explained all we needed to know and helped us to our room, once in the room we noticed that it needed to be maintained better as there was cracked tiles in the bathroom, frayed carpet areas, paint chips and marks on the doors. The furniture such as the dressing table is bubbled up and the tv remote was dirty also. The bed was very hard and left me with a very painful back, the pillows were flat and so had to fold them to get support. I did expect more since this room was priced at £302 for the night. If all of that wasn't enough through the night the fire alarm kept going on and off through the whole hotel it was awful very loud and no real communication what was happening. So we got barely 2 hours sleep even though we went to bed early as we had a busy day before. But because of this issue we cancelled the whole days activities after. When we checked out and told them of our dissatisfaction and how bad it was all they would offer is a free night stay another time. I think that is ridiculous who is going to want come back after this awful experience, the whole point of a hotel is to get a good night sleep and that I definitely did not get!
