OMG. so i would totally recommend you not stay here. Firstly, the stairs leading up to the second level are unsafe and kept dirty and fill with construction residue (i.e concrete chips and debris). front reception area, had no one there just a key laid out on the counter which i assumed was mine since i made my appointment the night before. my room was super small and when it rained i was slushing threw at least a 1/2” of water in the bathroom leaking from the light fixture. water was seeping in from the window sills and my early morning was spent mopping with a dingy mop found in the corner of the floor. frustrated and extremely tired from mopping for at least one hour. i was finally switched to the “dryer” side of the building at 11AM- flooding happened at 4AM. Then there’s the noise-yes, the noise- that starts it seems right at 7Am. it is unrelenting. the construction, i was told, will take 5-10 years. so you will have to deal with all this madness till then. i really have no idea why expedia would have such a work in progress on its site. the basis amenities was putrid at most. Ants marched to there own dump around the fridge and desk area in the room and ran single file on the make-shift scaffolding leading to the second floor. finally there’s the Odor, not sure if it’s from the wet wood, mountain or sewer runoff’s the line the street an curbs in the bay or a combination but don’t open your windows for the stench is unbearable.
