Room was clean and AC works very well and quiet especially when the bathroom door is shut. Location is very convenient for riding the trams which take you to most places within the city. I highly recommend this property.

The hotel was very nice. The staff very courteous and friendly. The only drawback being that they didn't except EUROS for payments, such as breakfast and dinner. Only credit cards or Swiss Francs (CHS)

The facilities were great, the location ideal for anyone traveling by train, the room was well appointed. One peeve of mine (and I know I’m being very picky) is when a hotel where I’ve been to repeatedly asks me whether I’ve ever been there before. It contrasts with their supposed interest in their customers. Shouldn’t you know that I’m a loyal customer? Better not to ask. The staff in general, while competent and precise, felt a little cold more like what one expects at a bank than a hotel. Still, it is a great location and I will go back there and expect to be asked, again, if it’s my first place at the Mövenpick 😂

I stay in the suite on the 14th floor. The front desk staff is very friendly, and also give us a flexibility for early check-in. The room is fantastic, not just a great view but also the design and services in the room are all excellent. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Europe. All the best!

So wonderful hotel, almost brand new every where in hotel, they also provided a free Basel pass that you can go city by public transportation, breakfast is more than 5 stars hotel, variety of bread, cheese……. All you can eat, definitely, I will come back to stay again I. Future.

Basel is a small city by all means with great transportation options. The transfer from the airport was free thanks to the Baselcard you will be receiving upon check-in. You can show your reservation on the way if asked. Hotel is right next to the train station and one of the main transport hubs. And all transportation is for free thanks to tourism tax. The hotel; the reception, the food, the restaurant, the location — everything was top notch!
