Nice, updated hotel with spacious room and bathroom and just outside the Basel train station. All the local trans are outside the door, and it’s an easy walk to old town area and the major sites. A nice addition was the pair of ear plugs to minimize any train noise (but it was quiet with the windows closed anyway). Breakfast buffet was good too, and open 6:30-10, so works any schedule. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Very close to SBB - public transport. If you like the zoo it’s very close. We received a tourist card so public transportation was free and a lot of tourist attractions had great discounts. Would stay there again.

I love this hotel. I can’t hide it - it’s a fantastic hotel, very comfortable and the staff are the best. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. I’ve stayed there a few times now and found it to be an excellent choice from every angle. Very happy customer here. Recommended.

Great hotel. Location right next to railway station, easy to spot. Nice comfortable room and bed. Good sound insulation to prevent noise from trains and street traffic but earplugs provided just in case. Hotel gave us cards for free city transportation which was very convenient with buses and street cars, also good location close to everything. Breakfast is the best feature, large cheese selection, and other great options.

A great sized room in a well kept hotel. The hotel is practically over the road from Basel SBB station - so perfect for day trips and an easy walk in to Basel old town and other attractions. There’s a lot of construction work happening at the moment and it would have been nice to have been warned about this directly outside the hotel, but clearly not in the hotels control. The rooms are well sound proofed but not for this level of noise. All the staff were very helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel.
