"The main reason we stay at the Kurrajong when in Canberra is its history and the refurb which was really well done.The location is good for the National Gallery and Happy Hour is a good thing to do also. Felt that Room Service was a bit overpriced but Chifley's Bar puts on a good breakfast and the outdoor lawn area is nice."

"Receptionist was the nicest person i think I've ever spoken to ever!
Minor issue with a neighbours motion light being on all night the first night (no one was staying there, it was just glitching). We asked about it and they fixed it immediately with so much kindness (I felt bad asking and they were so easy about it).
Less than walking distance to a decent bistro and service station, and a yummy breakfast cafe. I say less than walking cause its literally like Right there :-)

"We booked last minute ie when we arrived in Canberra, and had to wait nearly 2 hours to receive both the online instructions and get keys to access the place - all the while waiting in our car. There is NO reception desk so gained assistance from other residents on how to use elevator as swipe box was hidden behind padded lift liner, plus parking not numbered in any particular order - need a map. Once we were in we were comfortable and happy with the facilities and location. Lovely pub...
