"La Malandrina Apts. is a great alternative to some of the costly hotels in Taormina. The location is great. Only a short walk to the city center. The Apartments are spacious, clean and have all the necessary amenities. The staff is extremely helpful with information about parking, directions or restaurant reservations. Taormina is not an easy town to drive. We enjoyed our stay and highly recomend La Makandrina."

"Perfect location, right on the mains street and over the road from ‘restaurant alley’ as we called it. It’s worth considering that the B&B is up 50 steps from the street. Our room was comfortable and a good size, quiet with the shutters closed. A continental breakfast was provided in the room and we had a fridge which was a bit noisy but couldn’t hear anything with my earplugs in. Francesca was very sweet and helpful. Highly recommended. "

"I'm spoiled. More pricy than I usually spend but so well worth it! Our rooms were lovely (Hotel graciously accommodated a room mix-up.) Little extras here and there. Breakfast was lovely, and the sky bar commanded fantastic view of Mt Etna. Lovely staff (even sent us off to the airport at 4 in the morning with fresh strawberries and croissants.) Hotel is right in the heart of charming Taormina. "

"Stayed May 2025, Excellent hotel, friendly helpful staff. Was travelling with a group of friends and then put us all on one floor to ourselves. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Hotel is well maintained. Rooftop common area for hanging out with plates, cutlery and glasses. No restaurant or other amenities but steps away from the heart of the city - location is excellent. Staff made great recommendations. Highly recommend this property."

"The best thing about Casa Blandano is its location, location, location. Being in the heart of Castelmola allowed me to enjoy this peaceful, mountain top village in the early mornings and late evenings after all the day trip tourists have all disappeared. "We stayed in one of the sea/Etna view suites for 4 nights. The view is the best you can get in Taormina - you can go higher, but it's a similar view so it was a shame to leave the room sometimes! "Had a lovely 4 night trip on my own. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet with views over water. Convenient location for bus station and a short walk up to historic town. I would stay here again. Only small thing to be aware of is the lifts in the building stop inbetween floors, so as long as you can carry your luggage up/down some steps you are fine to stay here."
