"We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel."
"Stayed here on a visit to Wigtown in late August 2026. Communication was great with multiple emails confirming reservation and instructions. Although there are no staff of duty the instructions on how to get the key were timely and detailed and we had no problems at all getting in and checking out, and we arrived late. "We spent a lovely spring week surrounded by daffodils and rolling Ayrshire hills. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with space for nine at wauchope cottage, which is part of the old stable/coach house. The staff were polite and the apartment was dog friendly as long as you can keep your dog in the kitchen or hall until it dries off as the livingroom and upstairs bedrooms have light coloured carpets.
