Welcome to our home! It’s a lovely one-bedroom apartment with a lot of charming characters. Located in vibrant Born, it's perfect for business or holiday trips alike, you’ll be within easy reach of the main city's attractions and only a short walk from the sea. The nearest tube, Urquinaona, is only four minutes' walk away, and connects you to Plaza España and more, via the L1 red line. With tasteful decor, my place has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a unique Barcelona experience!

Please consider that building stairs are narrow so it might be difficult if you come with large luggage.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in Born, a cosmopolitan neighborhood in the center of Barcelona with a wide variety of restaurants and cafés located within passages, alleys, and medieval squares. Discover Born’s charm by wandering down narrow streets and browsing through an eclectic selection of boutiques and recharge your batteries near the Church of Santa Maria del Mar, where you’ll be able to dig into paella and enjoy a cool drink on any of the many terraces available. You will be within walking distance from Las Ramblas and the Gothic neighborhood, and close to the Center of Culture and Memory - Museum Mercat del Born, with its Roman remains, and the Museum Picasso at Carrer Montcada, which holds most of this Malagueño’s work and demonstrates the city’s influence on the iconic artist. This area is well-connected to the city center and you’ll have different public transport connections to choose from, with the most convenient being the metro. The closest stations are Jaume I and La Barceloneta, so getting to other parts of the city will be a breeze.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with restaurant options in the Born neighborhood. Many consider this area to be one of the best places to discover the city’s culinary scene. Senyor Parellada is a cozy Catalonian restaurant where you can sample some specialties from the region, and the highly-rated Estimar is a great choice if you’re looking for some Mediterranean cuisine. Meanwhile, grab some Basque pinchos from Orio Born, where fresh northern Spanish specialties come hand in hand with excellent service.
Getting Around:
You will be in a neighborhood that welcomes walking and discovering stores, shops and all sorts of attractions. Urquinaona is the nearest station to the apartment, just a four-minute walk away. This connects you to the L1 red line, meaning you can get to iconic Barcelona sites in no time at all, such as Plaza Catalunya (5 minutes) or Plaza España (15 minutes). You can even get easily to the beach either walking or connecting with the L4 line (15 minutes). Coming in and out from the airport couldn't be easier, as the Airport Express Bus stops in Plaza Catalunya and will take you in 40 minutes to the airport, and to get there you are just two stops away from the Urquinaona station. You can always try a taxi or move around in Ube, even taking a bike to go at a slower pace and get to know Barcelona in more detail.
