The farmhouse and surrounding land was peaceful and gorgeous. We were there for a family wedding in nearby Somerset. We had plenty of room for all the cooks in the kitchen and enjoyed the views from every window and porch! We even saw the northern lights one night!

Wildwood is even better than it looks in the pictures. The house is spacious with tall ceilings. Virginia, Robert, and Stella have anticipated everything a guest may need. We were all very comfortable! The grounds were just as lovely with many flowers in bloom. We stayed for UVA graduation and our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy Wildwood.

This quiet and very well decorated farmhouse is in the lovely orange county. We stayed there during the recent steeplechase race. It would be a perfect venue for wedding functions and trips to Vineyard. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful wine country retreat In the Rollinghills of orange county Virginia. We visited steeplechase very convenient location and a lovely property both inside and out. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend this property

Our family traveled to Virginia to celebrate the surprise engagement of our son. The Wildwood Farm home was absolutely perfect for our 4 generation family of 7, plenty of space and just a beautiful location. The hosts were very accommodating and accessible if we needed anything. We highly recommend Wildwood Farm.

While Ian brought constant rain throughout the weekend, we really didn’t mind. The home was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed and charming. And the surrounding land was gorgeous, quiet and private. We routinely saw deer running through the fields. We found ourselves primarily gathering in the kitchen and the family room - a separate wing of the home with vaulted ceilings and a large fireplace - just beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Really all in all a great experience!

We had a great weekend in a spacious country house in Barboursville. We visited nearby wineries and there were many more things to do if we had the time. We ended up spending more time in Charlottesville, which was about 30 minutes away, but it was a fun windy drive to get there.

A group of us booked this home for a bachelorette weekend in Virginia. The property is remote, but absolutely gorgeous. We loved the layout of the house, the beautiful views, big kitchen, and big windows. The home was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with basics like towels, toilet paper, etc. The owners were very informative and responsive to our questions. The WiFi was great too as we were worried about cell reception. The area was lovely and we took a great winery tour, had a private chef cook us dinner at the house, and went out to downtown Charlottesville which was only about 30 minutes away. It was a perfect escape and I would love to go back to unwind. Thank you to the whole family!

Excellent property! All rooms are larger than photographed. A large group of us reunited at the farmhouse and were well accommodated in the house. The layout of the home provided options for where we could gather together AND quietly get away. Although remote, it was perfect for visiting the nearby wineries.

My sister lives in NC and we live in MD. We met halfway with our four teens and our father flew in from Tampa as well. We hadn't seen each other since the beginning of covid. The house was absolutely perfect-lots of space for us to spread out, and for the teens to have some privacy. We brought bocce and played on the lovely lawn for hours. The highlight was seeing the herd of cows stroll by right up to the fence! Great stay and lovely home with everything you need.

The house was perfect for our family of 10 and Virginia and her daughter even helped us out with an ingredient for a recipe that the local grocery store was out of. I was searching for a secluded spot to celebrate my partners birthday. Wow, did we luck out. Great house, very secluded on a farm but you don't see the working part of the farm. Pristine and charming large house on BEAUTIFUL land. At night it is pitch black but stars are plenty and amazing. Virginia was super responsive and really nice. I wish we would have arranged to use the fireplace in main living space (1 of 2). Use it if you book in January or February , days are warm. House was plenty warm but fireplace is awesome. We will definitely book again soon. Enjoy!

The farm house at Wildwood was magnificent and exceeded all expectations! This house was the best pick to show off Virginia lifestyle to my Atlanta city-living friends who traveled for our wedding. It housed everyone comfortably and although we did not have our small wedding ceremony here, we had our reception here and it could not have been a more perfect evening thanks to the property. Highly highly recommend Wildwood to anyone looking for a private, serene experience surrounded by the beautiful outdoors.
