This was a truly lovely property with unique and cozy furniture and decor. Very homey and not cookie cutter typical hotel decor. The beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was amazing with table service. It’s walking distance to the shopping area. Highly recommend.

This property is absolutely wonderful. It's located in a great location, with the center of Bar Harbor shopping and dining no more than an easy 10 minute talk. They have modern up to date rooms. Nice breakfast which offers 2 different made to order options each day, with regular continental fare included. My only issue was 2 very noisy young girls, which were running around on our floor and slamming the stairway door for what seemed like hours on end. We were in town for a wedding. Although bothersome we just caulked it up to some entitled person's bad parenting skills.

We loved everything about The Inn on Mount Desert. The staffers were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was made to order for us. We could walk to everything in town. We have already made reservations for another visit in a few months. This will be our go-to destination in Bar Harbor from now on.
