"We were stranded in Saint-Quentin (family of 4 with two young girls) and Oliver - the host - took us under his wing and went above and beyond for our family. From driving us to and from where we were stranded to cooking room-served dinners for our girls. The breakfast is wonderful and the room was stylish, luxurious and comfortable. Definitely stay here at Oliver’s and his wife’s beautiful place. "

"We are a family of five that regularly travels through France, but it is hard to find accommodation that fits us all plus the dog. This hotel was amazing. Everything looks new, it is quiet, and facilities like the bar and gym were great. Superb service. Modern and we loved the location for a short stop over. We will definitely look to stay again. "On our way back to the UK we were looking for an overnight stay and booked this Best Western Plus, Le Picardy. This has to be one of the nicest Best Western Hotels. A wonderful and kind welcome from Luana, who also recommended a lovely restaurant a minute’s walk away called La Huit 8. We were upgraded to a very spacious bedroom & bathroom. I would definitely recommend "

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. Most staff speak some English which is good when you are tired after a long journey and seem to have forgotten any french you knew. The beds was lovely and comfortable and the French external blinds cut out noise and light for a peaceful sleep. The room and ensuite bathroom are clean. The breakfast is continental with plenty to choose from and includes cereal, yoghurt and fruit. There were some eggs, bacon and sausages and a toaster. Coffee very good from the machine. There is also tea and hot chocolate available although no drink making facilities in the rooms. The restuarant serves a variety of starters, mains and desserts and there is a discount for two and three courses. There is no lift to rooms on the second and third floors but there are a few ground floor rooms. Staff will help you with your bags if required."

"A great overnight stop en route to skiing . Secure car park a big plus ! Arrived late but reception was open and very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable although hairdryer would be good ! Breakfast good . Overall, great . Really good bar a short distance away my kids tell me 😀"
