"Very small room. NO AIR CONDITIONING UNIT in double standard room - a fact I didn’t know until I went to check in. Friendly staff, they provided a complimentary breakfast for the lack of air con. Luckily there’s a small fan in the room which helped a little but this really needs to be changed as the heatwave was unbearable. The hallway is also very hot to walk through. The double standard room is the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in - Premier Inn and Travelodge are bigger in comparison"

"Booked family room for 5 guests at a great price... can't grumble for what i paid, it was a place to rest for a night. The main bed was comfy, the other 2 beds were not so great but not awful. Clean bedding. Didn't have a remote for the TV but reception gave us one. Heating in the bathroom was on in scorching weather but reception sorted that too. The room had a bit of a funky smell and a bit of mould but nothing drastic Extremely annoying that I paid for breakfast for 5 people and got told they dont serve breakfast... when I asked for a refund I got told to go via hotels.com who I used to book and have been completely ignored by them. No refund for breakfast which I must partly blame the hotel for allowing it to be an option, despite not booking directly. Im sure they could have helped. Overall, its a place to rest, if its a good price its okay... if you want high end, this is not it. And dont pre pay for any food!!"

"Though the location is less convenient than the hotels in town center of Croydon, the connection with Bus is also fine with 5 to 10 mins walk. The Colonnades offer good choice of catering from fast food Macdonald to grilled chicken Nando. Breakfast is good with basic variety of eggs, beans, hashbrowns, sausages, fruit and flakes considering the relatively low room price."
