Right inthe town bang in.a bit old fashioned in decor and facilities.could do with modern uplift. Breakfast menu not great.no help yourself buffets for food or drinks all has to be ordered from a menu.no room service or fridge in the room I stayed,and the double bed was two singles together which wasn’t great either.the carp park was a really tight squeeze to park and flooded when I stayed there.when it had rained.its ok to stay here it is what it is,perfect for ballina town,but for me a bit more of an upgrade needed on hotel interior and bathroom toiletries.looking past all that.it suited my needs and this just my opinion on my stay.

The hotel is located in the heart of Ballina; near shopping, restaurants and pubs. There is a traditional charm and warmth about it. The staff was so accommodating, we would definitely stay again.

If you need to stay in the center of Ballina.. this is your hotel...walkable from the train station. Staff are so friendly,helpful and professional.Check in was easy. Rooms are clean and cozy. The only thing I would say is that there is no Air-conditioning so room was warm. Breakfast included was excellent offering a true Irish Breakfast Overall, i world highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Property is dated and chairs etc in room were falling apart. Hotel needs a refurbishment to bring it back to glory as dated and not nice when chairs are falling apart.

The handles on the doors In the public areas need a very good polishing. I have stayed many times at that hotel and the door handles in the public areas ie the bedrooms quarters’ fire doors have never been cleaned.
