"Our reservation was cancelled and we only recieved a message via Expedia despite our telephone number being provided - they stated they didn’t have a correct number. This was found in a spam folder upon arrival.
We arrived after ten hours of driving to discover we had no reservation despite it being a week after our booking was made. It was then too late to organise an alternative option and ended up having to drive throughout the night to our destination and also had to catch a few hours sleep...
