"We were completely shocked at the state of the room. We requested the best they had, yet there were dead bugs on the sheets, a blood stain on the bed! And toothbrush residue splattered all over the bathroom mirror. We took pictures and I let the staff (a woman who remained on her phone during the entire conversation) know. I showed her the issues and she simply nodded and nothing else. We quickly left and ran next door to the Rusa hotel and stayed there. I don't understand how Expedia partnered...

"This place is so remote and peaceful! The bungalow we had had an outdoor shower and bathroom and it was a little bit hard to get adjusted to the nature sounds at night time! If you want to remove yourself from civilization and be the one with oneself and nature, this is the place. I liked that they did not have Tv in the room or internet Wi-Fi (only at the restaurant). "Our stay at Villa Selonding was absolutely amazing! The staff made us feel so welcome and our stay was very relaxing. Our room was spacious and clean, wonderful the pool and grounds were immaculate. The food was also very good. "

"The rooms were not clean. There was cobwebs and spiders everywhere, in the bedrooms and eating areas. Quite a frightening experience. The other problem was there is no direct road access to the hotel, cars will have to stop outside along the roadside and the luggage and bags will have to be unloaded at the roadside. We had to walk about 5-10 mins to the hotel, amidst the padi fields while the hotel staff helped to bring our luggages via a motorbike. It’s a nice walk if it’s in the morning, but...
