"It’s a beautiful building in an amazing grounds. The room was clean and airy with good light. We travelled by bicycle and they happily locked them away safely for us. Breakfast was also very good and worth the extra charge. Our only comment would be that if you don’t want to have dinner in their restaurant and you’re on a bicycle or foot, then you’ll need to go a couple of kilometres to the nearest village. We asked if the kitchen could prepare a sandwich or something small for us, but was told no, which I felt was a bit uncompromising."

"The air conditioning was faulty and didn’t keep the room cool. It seemed to stick at 23. Otherwise staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good- it included continental options but there was a microwave if you wanted to make porridge and chia pudding in coconut milk!"
