Oceanfront Home in Avon with Private Pool, Hot Tub, and Screen Porch

OCEANFRONT Avon- Kinnakeet Shores - The flavor of the island awaits you in this enchanting retreat amid the rolling dunes. Start off your vacation with a dip in the 12' x 25' private swimming pool. An all weather entry leads to the first level with two bedrooms and a bath (the bunk room features a flat screen TV and DVD). The second level has four bedrooms and three baths, including 2 master suites (both with flat screen TVs and DVDs) that open to a shaded oceanside deck and bubbly hot tub. The third level great room with cathedral ceiling provides fantastic Atlantic views and abundant space for entertaining, dining, or just relaxing after a great day on the water. Your family will enjoy watching the flat screen TV with DVD. The fourth floor ship’s watch with wet bar, mini-fridge, and private deck will make you the envy of the beach as you enjoy some of Avon's best ocean and sound views. (Fireplace seen in pictures is not available for guest use.)

Loved It

We truly had a wonderful experience. There was a issue with the cleaning -- somehow the cleaners had completed only a fraction of the house -- so that was a bit of a disappointment the first night. But the next morning, a crew immediately came in and did a stellar job, and everything from that point forward was marvellous!

A Litle Tired

Home was clean although we started seeing palmetto bugs the second week. They came and sprayed with 2 days. Deck had lots of nail pops which you could snag your feet on. One of the railing spindles broke free in the wind. Luckily we had no small children. Handyman came right away and fixed these and some other items. Pigeons were roosting on top of the posts holding up the top deck. As a result there was pigeon poop all over the 2nd floor deck which made it nearly unusable. We also had to clean bird poop off of some of the pool furniture. The pool furniture was minimal and there was nothing that laid flat so you get get sun on your back. View was beautiful and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was great. Kitchen pans had little non-stick coating left.

Spacious home, great location.

The home had the space we needed, short walk to beach, pool, jacuzzi and gorgeous views. Management company left us a box of candy/small gift, which was nice; however, I would have appreciated a roll of TP. The home had zero supplies of any kind. A bit dated but comfortable with plenty of space.
