This place was really great. I love a sort of DIY hip hotel like The Foundry Suites. The rooftop is for hotel guests only and has an amazing view of the Acropolis as well as refrigerators and tables where you can have your breakfast. We took our bottle of wine to the roof and kept it cool in the fridge one evening. Its very peaceful up there. The room was comfortable and had a loft bed which made the space feel large like an apartment more than a hotel. It had a kitchen and everything which would make an extended stay convenient. The staff was so helpful with suggestions of restaurants and bars to go to. Also very LGBTQ + friendly which we always appreciate. The breakfast is awesome as is the location. I have already recommended this hotel to a friend and his family and they have booked their stay at The Foundry Suites. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Athens.

Our stay in Suite K2 at the Foundry Suites was absolutely outstanding and easily one of the highlights of our time in Athens. The rooftop access was a major bonus, offering stunning views over Athens and the Acropolis—especially in the evening. The staff were exceptional: welcoming, responsive, and genuinely kind. Communication was seamless, and every interaction made us feel well taken care of without being intrusive. The daily breakfast was excellent—fresh, well prepared, and delivered to the room on time. If we visit Athens again in the future, we know where we will be staying.

We stayed room A0 which was excellent. Plenty of room to relax after a busy day. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and extras too if you wanted to save some for lunch. We loved the roof top patio. Service was very friendly. Excellent walking location to the Ancient Agora, Acropolis, etc. We loved the stylish interior and laid back vibe.

We had a wonderful experience at this exceptional one-of-a-kind hotel. Our suite, with its private balcony, was perfect for our party of three adults. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Located in the Psirri neighborhood, with its many restaurants, and within walking distance of the important historical sites. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel. We stayed in the B0 room that had a small outdoor garden. The room was quiet (there is a garden bar across the way but it wasn’t too loud), the staff were super friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable and a generous size (similar to King in the US). The mini-kitchen was a great amenity for a multi-day stay. The rooftop had great views, though the bar was closed as it wasn’t yet open for the season. Would certainly stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Athens.

Nice retreat but close enough to all the sites

Spacious well equipped room. Really accommodating staff. Breakfast always delivered on time. No issue for us but room BO on the ground floor is opposite a bar that is open until the early hours and then cleaning starts around 7am so is noisy with the windows open. Would recommend a stay here.

Great location and home comforts

This is a great place for anyone wanting to spend time in central Athens and enjoy home comforts into the bargain. A superb breakfast is prepared by the delicatessen opposite and the fully equipped kitchen allows options and flexibility. Very helpful front desk staff are always on hand 24/7 to help. Comfy beds and great location. Literally, a couple of streets away from vibrant city life. Superb.
