Fantastic location. Fantastic staff. Rooms sort of small but work. We stayed 3 nights. One night the noise was overwhelming. Two nights it was manageable. Nice breakfasts. Lots of pluses
Everything was so nice here at the hotel and perfectly located. The staff is so helpful and had great suggestions for us and always took care of us. The food and cocktails were also the best ever.
Would stay here again and can't recommend staying here enough!!
An excellent choice for a one-night layover before heading to the port for an island adventure the next day. Just a ten-minute stroll to the Acropolis, and ideally located within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants and bars. Close enough to the Parthenon to feel cultured with easy access to the bars in the Plaka The perfect launchpad for both ancient history and a good night out.
Perfect location and close to everything. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning that worked great. Overall, an A++ experience!
We stayed 3 nights prior to a Virgin Cruise at the Gatsby in an Elite junior Suite (room 401). It was a stellar hotel and everything was wonderful from start to finish.
We arrived early around 8 am at Gatsby following a red eye. The front desk staff, especially Alex, was warm and assured us that we would get an early check-in once they cleaned our room. They took our bags and we went off to explore the area, which was a fantastic location in the center of everything. At 9:45AM they texted us our room was available and we could check in, which was awesome.
The room was extremely clean and had very nice amenities. The only negative for our stay was that room 401 is a very small space. The shower was huge, (great water pressure!) but other than that, the room space was a bit cramped. We had 3 large suitcases for the cruise portion of our trip, so travelers with less luggage may not mind. One nice benefit of this room was there was a huge private balcony which faced the street and had a good combination of both sun and shade, and had nice foliage to give the space a lot of privacy considering it was a very urban location. Street noise was not bad and the balcony doors kept the room quiet for us.
Greco restaurant in the hotel was also absolutely stellar-a must try of you are staying at the hotel. They give hotel guests a 15% discount which made it extremely well priced for the very high food quality.
Again, a shout out to Doorman Alex who was awesome helping us w/taxis, etc
Great boutique hotel beautifully decorated with spacious rooms , very comfortable beds and pillows and excellent service. Located on a side street which is very conveniently located in heart of Athens , we had dinner at the restaurant which was also excellent!

Wonderful hotel and lovely people. Perfectly located
Perfect location to explore Athens, was easy to hit the Acropolis or the Agora and come back to the hotel before seeing something different later in the day. The beds are extremely comfortable and the toiletries are very good as well. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They always said hello when they saw you. The main two doormen that worked the week I was there always went above and beyond in service and being friendly (especially the guy who worked all day on May 28th...he is awesome). They really made you feel welcome. Breakfast was very good as well....got to have the Greek yogurt. The only thing you have to get used to is that there is a bar/restaurant in the first floor that is loud until midnight.
This hotel is in a great location with a super friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. It was convenient to the Acropolis and other sites, as well as bars, restaurants and shops in the city center district. 5 stars!
