A wonderful experience!

Atami Sekitei is highly recommended for people looking for a place with quiet and distinguishing quality. You will first be impressed with the room that has been maintained in the traditional Japanese style, and then by the peace of mind the place brings you. Both the public hot spring and the private one are terrific. Guests were basically in good manner and disciplined. The dinner was great and perfect. It takes only 40 minutes from Tokyo via Shinkansen, and a 5 mins taxi from the train station to the hotel. Not much to see in the neighborhood but pretty close to the nearby attraction by taxi or by walk.

Staffs are very professional , service were excellent . They can improve on breakfast and dinner quality . With this price other Ryokan offer better food quality . During raining can be quite dangerous due to the walk way make from stone .

名副其實的石亭

館內充滿了石頭建築, 風景優美 有兩座石橋連接館的不同部份, 不看地圖的話有可能會迷路 因為地方太大所以早晚餐都要去飯堂吃 服務員非常專業, 對日語不太好的我也很用心地講解料理 缺點是位置較遠, 帶行李的話只能靠計程車到車站(一千日圓左右)

高級旅館のおごり？　末端まで教育が行き届かない現状に残念無念！！

親友の命日墓参りの前日、友人３名と一緒に宿泊しました。金曜日でしたので、それぞれが仕事を終えてからの移動のため、バラバラの到着。私は、１８時２０分ごろに到着しました。 タクシーで到着し、玄関に入っても迎えの人は誰もいませんが、これだけ遅ければ仕方がないですね。こんばんは！　と叫ぶと、中から女性が２名。 若い方の女性がお部屋にご案内しますと、離れの石畳を歩き始めます。私は、コートと荷物二つ持っていましたが、持ちましょうか？の一言もなし。姿勢よくスタスタと歩く彼女の後姿を、荷物もってくれないいだ～と首をかしげながらついていき、松崎という部屋に。 友人１名先についていました。後ほど、お茶をお出しします、と残して立ち去る彼女。 夕飯はもっとも遅い時間で１９時からということなので、急いで露天風呂をいただきました。 少しゆっくり入りすぎ、１９時５分ごろ、脱衣所でタオルを体に巻き、汗が引くのを待っていると、入り口から男性の気配。夕食中のタオル交換のスタッフの方でした。 私の草履に気づかず、さらに中に入ってきたので、「まだ入ってますよ！」と若干声を上げて言いましたところ、焦った彼は、即座に去っていきました。 風呂場からでるときに、彼が直謝りしていたので、「若い女性でなくてよかったわね。若い女性だったら、大変でしたよ！」と一言残して、夕食の会場に移動！ 友人たちは、１９時半ごろ全員集まり、遅めのスタート！ そうはいっても、気分よく美味しいお食事とアルコールをいただき、最後のデザートも終わりましたが、お茶が出てこず！ チャイムを鳴らし、お茶をお願い！と頼むと、仲居が「もう遅いので･･････」と宣った。 デザートが運ばれてから１０分は立ちますが、その間にサーブできなかったのかしら？？？ いやはや、夕食の最後にお茶も出てこない高級旅館は初めてです。 あくる日の朝も、ビールを頼んでも注いでくれず、ごはんを頼んでもよそってもくれず、お変わりの際、「よそってくれますか？」とお願いすると、お顔が少し歪みながら、よそってくれました。 結局、皆で、いいのか悪いのかわからない宿だね、と感想を述べつつ、親友の墓参りに出かけました。ここまで有名になると、どこかが横柄になるのでしょうか。下までの教育が徹底されていない高級旅館。残念な気持ちで宿を後にしました。
