"For an obviously older hotel, everything was clean, up-to-date, and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely including Gluten Free. "

"I rate this place 5 out of 5 stars. 1) The location is conveniently located to many eateries and parks (literally across the street). 2) Hotel amenities: small gym room but good enough for a decent work out. Plenty of common space seating area for reading, chatting, or playing board games (which they provide). Quaint garden patio areas. Self laundry machines. Indoor parking garage. 3) Decent hot breakfast (bacon, fresh eggs, potato graten) and continental breakfast. (And there's oatmilk!) 4) Inside the room: Shower water pressure good. We stayed at Bard's Inn across the street as well. Both hotels are pretty good. If you plan to utilize the hotel amenities or if you prefer a slightly better breakfast selection, then pick Plaza Inn. "

"Just a block from the Shakespeare Festival, this hotel is ideally located. Room was clean as were common areas. Chairs in the room were cute, but could use some stuffing. Breakfast was good deal at $5…a step up from chain hotel breakfasts. "

"What a find! This 100 year old house is indeed a Charmer. There were 6 of us (all women) sharing the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and if worked just fine. The house was clean and we were even left a bottle of wine and some candy. Our host, Alla, was most attentive to our needs, like when the racoons knocked over the outside garbage before we arrived. I sent her a message and within 5 minutes, the housekeeper was there to make sure it was all cleaned up. It is an old house so the floors creak and walls are thin, but it's nothing that should stop you from staying. Just be aware that there are stair to get to the two bedrooms. The location is fantastic! We parked our cars and walked everywhere. Two blocks away is the Cabaret Theatre (which I highly recommend) and just a bit further are the OSF theatres. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance, as is Lithia Park and the Japanese Garden, which shouldn't be missed. This was the first year of our "girl trip" and we hope to come back next year. We will definitely look to stay here! "

"This Ashland house is an absolute gem. It’s incredibly cute, thoughtfully decorated, and feels warm and inviting the moment you walk in. The location is a huge highlight. It’s perfectly walkable to downtown, making it so easy to enjoy Ashland’s shops, restaurants, and theaters without needing to drive. Whether we were heading out for coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening, everything felt conveniently close.Overall, this place strikes the perfect balance of charm, comfort, and convenience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ashland."

"I can’t speak highly enough of this unit, and the folks who run it. It’s immaculately clean and filled with natural light that highlights its uplifting aesthetic. Plus the owners are great. There was a bug in the app for booking, but in short order I was able to meet up in person, work out a solution, and I even got to checkin early. Whatever brings you to Ashland, this place will only add to your experience and put you in the right head space for whatever adventure awaits."
