My fiancée and I stayed for 3 nights at hotel Balocco and it was the highlight of our trip to Sardinia.
The complementary daily breakfast was excellent with lots of options to choose from: eggs to order, fresh cut fruit, tasty desserts, cheeses, bacon, etc.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the front desk, wait staff, pool/towel staff, and house keeping were warm and friendly. The service overall was excellent. There is a free shuttle to the beach you can sign up for through the front desk—they were very informative.
The pool is beautiful, although we didn’t spend much time there and opted to go to the beach.
The room was spacious and clean. Having a comfortable king bed was a welcome reprieve from the smaller, less comfortable beds we slept on in Florence prior to our arrival. The shower also had very good water pressure making hair washing a breeze.
The decor is warm and beachy adding to the ambiance of beautiful Porto Cervo. Our favorite feature of this hotel was our gracious feline host, little Balocco. We loved being greeted by her every morning.
Overall, I can’t wait to come back here! Hotel Balocco is 10/10 and I will be recommending it to anyone heading to Italy.
