"This is a small town in Italy away from everything. 4 hours and 2 trains from Rome. This bed and breakfast (coffee and croissant in the Centrale Bar in the piazza below) may be one of only a few places here to stay. They have no fast food chains in this town of about 12,000 but it is a slice of Italy that hasn't changed much in the last 50 years. The accommodations were very good but there is no staff onsite. "The room was clean. We arrived early and the cleaning staff was still cleaning our room. The front desk staff was very accommodating, he arranged for a trip to the St. Michael's place. Also safekeep our luggage on check out day while we went to attend mass at the Bassilica of Padre Pio."
