The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra but well worth the price. No elevator but that is not unusual in France. I would stay here again!
We stayed in a Superior Quadruple Room, on the first floor. No elevator, and parking is limited and cannot be reserved. So we arrived early (noon) and snagged the last available spot. Bed was comfortable, but the room was too small to even consider opening up the sofabed. Breakfast was good, but not as great as some other stays in France. Quiet at night. Very walkable to all attractions.
Hotel is Wonderful!! The Courtyard, The Antiquity and Location is Amazing!
Very pleasant stay, and the staff was Superb with servicing and assisting.
ADORABLE PLACE.

Property was a little run down. Staff was great. Small rooms. Walkable area. We weren’t able to park onsite.
Nice room with en-suite. The shower was rather awkward to use as it did not have a high wall mounting but that was the only inconvenience we had. No a/c but a fan was provided although we bought our own small fans which were much quieter. Breakfast was fresh with lots of things to choose from. The central location was important to us as was the proximity of parking. The hotel car park was full on arrival but there are two public car parks one above and one below ground within a 5 min walk. We would happily return if staying in Angers again.
Clean and comfortable boutique hotel located in a very convenient location with nearby dining and historical sites. Couldn’t have expected anything better!
Met all our expectations. An easy walk into the centre and the chateau. All the staff were great, especially those on reception. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean.
Its a traditional hotel with some old forgotton procedures. Handwritten invoices etc. The receptionist informed me that I obligated have to give up my car keys (rental car) even though thats against the rental agreement or find another place. It did not feel inviting or comfortable which was partly do to the language barier.
The Room keys are traditional old keys which they advise to leave behind but I other guests can then enter your room so I decided to keep it with me.
Overall the hotel is in good condition, basic but clean rooms and a good breakfast. The location is great and it looks green, well maintained and good condition.

This place is TIRED- obviously Angers is a tourist town and probably not a lot of repeat visitors- The decor is cheap and the halls have a red and black theme and look old, poorly done in the first place and just tacky. The towels are gray and thin and in short supply- The bathroom had hot water but not a proper shower (sit in the tub with hand held)- On the good side, it's well located to tour Angers for a couple of days with parking on site. The breakfasts, while boring (with stale hard boiled eggs the only option other than yogurt and bread ) the coffee was very good and the woman working in the breakfast room was friendly (front staff was at times unfriendly) -in all it was a very 'just ok' place that felt kind yucky- would not stay again.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is in a very good location for exploring the old city. Air con was an issue and parking was limited however there was an underground public car park a few minutes walk.
Everything in the hotel and with the staff perfect The only difficulty was actually getting access by car from the road entrance into the hotel - not for novice drivers.

Very attractive hotel in great location
Very helpful and friendly young staff
Good breakfast
Our second floor family room was small but comfortable
I liked the quiet area and the really French style of elegant house without it being too formal. Very close to the town centre but in a little side road without much traffic.
